Doctor of Physical Therapy
Sean Karhan, PT, DPT, ATRIC
Sean hails from the Akron/Cleveland area and received his B.A. in Biology at Cedarville University. During his time there, he fell in love with this area and set roots in Xenia after finishing undergrad. Prior to completing his doctoral degree in physical therapy at the University of Findlay, Sean spent two years working in Xenia, while also being heavily involved in his church and local community with youth programs. Upon finishing his DPT degree, Sean returned to Xenia. He has been working as a physical therapist since 2019 helping people with a variety of diagnoses and conditions. Sean additionally became certified with the Aquatic Therapy and Rehab Institute in 2022 and has been continuing his education with learning an advanced manual technique called Strain Counterstrain from the Jones Institute.
Sean’s patient caseload has involved people with chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, post-op recovery, post-stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, and chronic illnesses.
When he isn’t at work, you may find him spending time with his wife, playing with his two young kids, woodworking, or relaxing in his hammock.
